Roaming free with your VR kit is a possibility. With the new wireless adapter, Oculus Rift owners can say goodbye to their cords.

TPCast announce this month that it is working on a wireless adapter for the Oculus Rift, targeted for release in Q4 of this year. The company is promising support for 2K video transmission at 90fps with less than 2 milliseconds of motion to photon latency added on top and a five-hour battery life.

This is great news!!

Gamers are going to enjoy their new cordless gaming experience, and content developers will get even more creative with how this wireless freedom can be fully integrated into an improved VR experience.
